Welcome to my website, which has just been updated with some of the antique rugs that I have bought over the last few weeks.
Please click on the 'latest acquisitions' button to see the various antique rugs, carpets, runners and kilims added to my inventory recently. Once again, the selection is diverse, with Persian tribal, village and city pieces mingling with Caucasian, Turkoman, Anatolian and Chinese rugs.
As I often buy and sell rugs very quickly, not all items that I have for sale appear on this website. Please contact me and let me know what you are looking for, and I can email you images of rugs as soon as I get them. In addition to what you see here, I also sell antique European carpets (Aubusson, Savonnerie, Axminster), as well as Indian carpets from cities such as Agra and Amritsar.
If you do not find what you are looking for please email me with dimensions, colours and description and I will do my best to find you something just right at a very competitive price. I have connections all over the UK and Europe and have a growing reputation as a rug finder and broker, working increasingly with interior decorators and collectors in the field.
Good antique rugs have a soul, and bring character and energy to an interior. They are also (for the most part, at least) relatively inexpensive and, unlike modern rugs or fitted carpet, they usually hold their value and can even (with a bit of luck!) increase in value.
