Info | These wonderful cotton flatwoven carpets were made for the summer residences of wealthy Persians who spent their summers on the banks of the Caspian sea. The cotton structure meant that they were cool underfoot; an escape from the unrelenting heat of the Persian summer. Double sided, with the inverse colours on each side. Beautiful and rare. |
