A good Caucasian rug of a type not often encountered in large sizes such as this. In good overall condition and with a large range of vegetable colours. Shirvan is a historical region in the eastern Caucasus, today part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, stretching from the western shores of the Caspian Sea to the Kura river.
